Group or Private SUP Lessons Available on the Gold Coast
The first thing you must know about stand up paddle boarding on the Gold Coast is that it’s super easy to learn with instruction from our fully accredited SUP coaches, showing you “how to” and being with you every step of the way.
In the private lesson you get to learn a lot more about paddle technique advance turns and stances, to generally improve your strength of paddle technique and balance. You will advance a lot quicker in a Private lesson under the gentle guidance of our professional instructor.
Private lessons allow us to cater to your requirements depending on your fitness level so we can go at your pace. The lesson is a full hour so there’s plenty of time to tweak your paddle technique and for you to ask questions and to gain more information on paddling. Immediately after your lesson you have half an hour (free) board hire to practice your skills and the opportunity to ask a few more questions afterwards.
Paradise SUP Tour

2 hour Stand Up Paddleboarding tour exploring the beautiful waterways of Surfers Paradise.

Private SUP Lesson
$180.00 AUD
Fully instructed 1 HOUR Private Lesson including all equipment & photos and an extra half hour after lesson to practice the skills learnt.

2hr HIRE Stand Up Paddleboard

HIRE Stand Up Paddle Board – 2 hour paddle board hire includes leg rope and paddle.

What To Bring
We supply all surf equipment so all you need is swimmers, towel, thongs (flip flops) and a bottle of water.
Shuttle Bus Service
The shuttle is for participants only. The bus can be booked for a small fee. Our lessons are held at The Spit and there's ample FREE parking at our location.
Student Rates
Student rates are applicable to anyone who is the holder of a valid student ID – children, adults and international students.
Children Under 6
Children under 6 years are recommended to do a private surf lesson for their own safety.
Children 6-12 yrs
Children 6-12 and under are not permitted to join the group lessons with adults for their own safety, special exemptions may be made if the child is physically capable but that must be approved by Get Wet Surf School management.
Children’s only classes (for 6-12 year old’s) are held during school holidays and most Saturday mornings. Children’s only classes offer a 4 students to 1 instructor ratio for safety.
Parents are welcome to assist small children in a children’s only class if that are competent in the water.
Public Holidays
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: in line with fair work agreements all of our instructors are paid public holiday rates, so a surcharge will be applied to lessons on official Queensland public holidays.
